Location: Near Warrington with hybrid working

Salary: Negotiable plus 20% bonus scheme

Our client is one of the UK's leading energy distributors, supplying to commercial, agricultural, industrial and public sector customers as well as domestic customers nationwide. They operate a national network with over 2,000 employees, with group turnover now sitting into the £billions.

Due to exciting growth plans in line with their Renewable Energy strategy, they are now looking to hire a new Bid Writer to join their Bid & Commercial team in near Warrington.

People are very much treated and managed as an individual as opposed to a ‘one size fits all’ approach.

The new Bid Writer will be responsible for the full bid life cycle, delivering effective tenders, carry out internal pricing, assessment of existing business with a view to both retain and maximise current accounts, day to day management of supplier portals, contract management, execution of contracts post tender, supporting with building bid content library, contributing to go/ no go strategy.

Experience required:

• Minimum 2-5 years Bid Writing experience
• Experience within the Renewable Energy sector (highly desirable but not essential)
• Ability to identify key client requirements and produce high quality creative bid responses, written materials, reports and presentations (essential)
• A team player who can work to tight deadline
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) comfortable with communicating with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation (essential)
• A natural enquirer who gathers information and can summarise the key elements and to meet the requirements of a wide variety of proposals (essential)
