Job title: Tender Co-ordinator

Location: Preston area or Bolton

Salary: Negotiable plus bonus scheme

Our client are a leading healthcare facilities and manufacturing organisation offering over 3000 products and services to hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and domiciliary care providers.

They have recently gone through an impressive period of growth and are now turning over circa £130m with over 450 employees globally. The majority of the work that they deliver is framework based with the NHS making up a large portion of their customer base. Packages of work offered range from a few hundred £thousand to circa £6 - £7m per annum frameworks.

I'd best describe their culture as personable and supportive with an emphasis on innovation, development and sustainability.

Due to the recent phase of growth and plans to further develop as a business, they are now looking for a new Tender Co-ordinator/ Bid Writer to join the work winning team.

To be considered you will:

  • Demonstrate successful bid writing experience (essential)
  • Ideally possess experience of writing/ managing technical bids to include pricing (highly desirable but not essential)
  • Ideally possess experience of bidding for work with the public sector organisations (highly desirable but not essential)
  • Ideally have experience/ knowledge of the healthcare sector (desirable, not essential)
  • Be confident, driven and innovative and a team player (essential)
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of writing winning tenders (essential)
  • Possess excellent IT skills (essential)
  • Able to distill complex information into key messages and produce focused tender responses (essential)
